The Semantic Web Company is proud to be named in the KMWorld 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management for 2022. This is the seventh consecutive year that Semantic Web Company (SWC) has been featured on this list.

With 25+ years in the business, KMWorld is a leading publisher of strategic papers and market coverage for knowledge, content, and information management. KMWorld’s reports and conferences help establish best practices and relevant thought leadership for the industry.

To be recognized once again in KMWorld’s Companies That Matter report, is a reflection of SWC’s own thought leadership in the knowledge management and semantic web communities. The report writes,

“Flexibility, agility, and the ability to pivot continue to be essential characteristics of winning companies. Organizations must have the right tools and products so they can break down information silos, better understand the experiences of their customers and employees, uncover trends, expand collaboration, deploy AI and machine learning appropriately.”

Specifically in terms of what SWC’s PoolParty Semantic Suite offers, the aim of this technology is to bridge knowledge gaps between silos and organize unstructured data so that it can be machine readable and actionable. The goal of PoolParty is to do exactly as the report suggests by taking “advantage of automation to lighten the burden of mundane, repetitive tasks.”

KMWorld champions PoolParty’s abilities in graph-based metadata, semantic search, and analytic solutions. This report comes off the heels of another recent article published by KMWorld in which SWC’s CEO Andreas Blumauer was cited regarding text analytics and natural language processing.

The article highlights new approaches to NLP, such as the one that Blumauer says can be deployed in PoolParty Semantic Suite: “You can mix the machine learning-based NLP and the graph-based NLP together into one because you can benefit from both algorithms.”

Innovations in NLP, taxonomy, and graph-based solutions are some of the many facets of the Semantic Web Company that land them on the KMWorld 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management many years in a row.
