As thought leaders and digital pioneers, it is part of our PoolParty DNA to make a global impact and attend the main conferences and events in the semantic A.I. sphere.

Over the last couple of months, the Semantic Web Company once again attended some of the most important and prestigious events in the technology and knowledge management sphere and was thrilled to meet many of our partners in person.

Knowledge Graph Forum

Ontotext Knowledge Forum

In September, Semantic Web Company Sales & Business Development Representative Lutz Krüger, Senior Data & Knowledge Engineer Jürgen Jakobitsch and CCO Sebastian Gabler attended the  Ontotext’s Knowledge Graph Forum. An annual event that addresses the entire spectrum of business applications of knowledge graphs and the technology partner ecosystem needed to deliver those.

While Lutz and Jürgen engaged in a talk about “Decentralized Semantic Data Query and Management”, Sebastian Gabler took it upon himself to explain the current PoolParty Semantic Suite product roadmap.

October 2022

The month of October was an exciting one for our Company. With two tech conferences in Europe and the US.

Tridion Success Summit

At the beginning of October, our CEO, Andreas Blumauer, attended the Tridion Success Summit in Stockholm, where he played a vital role and spoke at various talks focusing on the latest developments concerning Semantic AI and Tridion. Andreas was also present at the “Talk to our Tridion Partners” event, where attendees were able to join a plenary and interactive panel session.

LavaCon

During the The LavaCon Content Strategy Conference in New Orleans, our colleague, taxonomist Heather Hedden, hosted an engaging pre-conference workshop about  “Using Taxonomies and Tagging to Connect Content Across the Enterprise”.

Heather highlighted the reason to use PoolParty software for centralized taxonomy management and tagging external but connected content management systems.

We were very well positioned for this year’s theme, “Connecting Content Silos Across the Enterprise.” and particularly enjoyed meeting some of our partners and customers.

KM World

KMWorld , in November, was full of exciting opportunities for our team and offered us valuable thought leadership and community exchange in the Knowledge Management space!

Organized and produced by Information Today, Inc., KMWorld and its co-located events, Taxonomy Boot Camp, Enterprise Search & Discovery and Text Analytics Forum, showcase organizations that have creative digital strategies for their future, are allowing experimental and risk-taking processes to inform their practices, have made solid progress in changing the culture of their enterprises, and know how to utilize AI and other technology in practical and useful ways to charge forward in their industries.

Networking was another essential part of this event, as several of our existing customers visited us at our booth, keen to exchange valuable insights. As diamond sponsors, we had a representative delegation giving talks and waiting for you at our PoolParty booth.

During these events, we learned that PoolParty is already considered  “the gold standard in the industry” and were thrilled to see that more and more customers understand that we are a leading solution for tagging, data labeling, intelligent content, as well as recommendation and personalization systems.

BioTechX

We were thrilled that Semantic Web Company was sponsoring BioTechX 2022 in Basel, Europe’s largest congress covering diagnostics, precision medicine, and digital transformation in pharmaceutical development and healthcare!

Hakim Tafer, one of our highly skilled Data, and Knowledge Engineers, and Angela DaSilva Associate Marketing Director spent three exciting days in Switzerland.

Hakim gave a presentation with the thought-provoking title: “From data to knowledge with Semantic A.I.”

TEKOM

In November our colleagues Sebastian Gabler, Lutz Krüger and Jürgen Jakobitsch attended the TEKOM in Stuttgart, Germany. An annual conference that aims to bring together participants, speakers, students and exhibitors of technical communication from all over the world from all sectors.

Data Day Texas 2022

Sebastian Gabler spoke alongside Jörg Schmidt, Solutions Architect from RWS about Structured Content and Semantic Technology in Life Sciences and emphasized the importance of streamlining content creation, and managing regulation changes, and explained how to elevate UX.

In another talk, Sebastian took a more practical approach and illustrated in this speech: Multilingual Taxonomies and Knowledge Graphs for Semantic AI  how to build and implement taxonomies and knowledge graphs alongside classic terminologies. Meanwhile, Lutz’s and Jürgen’s presentation introduced the audience to the “Semantic Operational Layer” and how to apply techniques of the Semantic Web to transform a company into a data-centric organization, overcoming the heterogeneity of its information landscape.
