Towards recommendations that actually help
As consumers we are used to recommender systems that give us a series of “Others also bought” or “You might also like” suggestions. In the workplace, these types of recommendations aren’t particularly useful because they often suggest more of the obvious and don’t factor in the requirements of employee queries.
What is a smart recommender system and how can it help in the digital workplace?

Lorenzo Tosi works as a Data and Knowledge Engineer at Semantic Web Company (SWC). He holds a Master Degree in Computational Lingustics from the Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, where he worked on multilingual annotation and tokenization systems and deep learning for language models.
Lorenzo specializes in working with customers to design and implement systems based on PoolParty’s dynamic suite to solve strategic business needs, ranging from content discoverability to metadata management and system integration.
