We will start by a general overview of the different steps in the application of Machine Learning techniques to real world cases. \nAfterwards\, the viewers will be treated to a series of examples of the successful use of Knowledge Graphs in several of these steps. These examples will show how Semantic Web Technologies can improve machine learning solutions in the fields of image processing\, biomedical data analysis\, and natural language processing. This will help them reflect on their existing machine learning pipelines\, and on ways to combine into them any knowledge that they have organized into graphs. \nThis is the first of a pair of webinars\, the second of which will focus on the application of Machine Learning to common tasks in the Semantic Web. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Speakers\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Anna Breit\n					Researcher at Semantic Web Company \n					Anna Breit is a Research Engineer at the Semantic Web Company. Previously\, she worked as a Research Associate at the Medical University Vienna. Anna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Informatics/Neuroinformatics. Her research mainly concerns knowledge graphs and natural language processing with a special focus on embeddings. Furthermore\, she targets questions regarding evaluation-metrics and -strategies in machine learning.  \n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Victor Mireles\n					Researcher at Semantic Web Company \n					Victor Mireles is a Technology Researcher at Semantic Web Company\, with a focus on federated data-spaces\, metadata management\, and natural language processing. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from National Autonomous University of Mexico\, and a PhD in Computational Biology from Freie Universität\, Berlin. He has held positions in academia and government\, has been involved in numerous research consortia\, and has over 20 peer-reviewed publications in conferences\, workshops and journals.
